    02 About

    Apple developer. Full-stack engineer.

My core is native Apple development with Swift and SwiftUI, with deep experience in iOS architecture and The Composable Architecture.

In sixteen years of building software, I’ve rebuilt the Embrace iOS app as its sole developer, led the Objective-C to Swift rewrite at Leafly, and shipped at Dropbox, where my accessibility work was featured at WWDC.

At AspectAvy, I rebuilt the iOS app in SwiftUI, rebuilt the web app, and built the backend and infrastructure, with all three now in production. My work also spans TypeScript and Swift services, Go where it fits, PostgreSQL and SQLite, the Docker and Caddy that run them, and AI integrations. Based in Hamilton, Ohio, I work remotely as a principal architect and full-stack developer, taking products from architecture through production.

    03 How I work

The app, the platform, and the tooling.

    01 /

    Native apps that feel native.

iOS development with deep roots in SwiftUI and The Composable Architecture, plus Android when the product calls for it. Modular codebases, real test coverage, and a release pipeline that runs without me watching it.

    Swift · SwiftUI · TCA · CI/CD
    02 /

    Backends that stay up.

APIs, real-time services, and full-stack web applications. Authentication, multi-tenant data, and the infrastructure and deploy tooling that keep a product running.

    TypeScript · Go · PostgreSQL · SQLite
    03 /

    Tooling that pays for itself.

AI integrations, on-device models, and developer tools with typed boundaries and deterministic fallbacks, including the open-source SwiftLLM, Ledger, and Dossier.

    05 Client notes

From the people who hired me.

Kyle built our entire business infrastructure from the ground up in record time, and the quality far exceeded our expectations. An outstanding full-stack engineer who executes at an exceptionally high level. I'd trust him to lead the technical direction of any product without hesitation.
    JeffFounder, full-stack build
I've shipped two full products with Kyle start to finish. Strong work ethic, real talent, and genuinely independent. He's pulled off everything I've thrown at him UI and UX wise, gets what I'm going for as a designer, and ships it on the front end with flair. I always want Kyle on the product team, and so far I'm two for two.
